I decided to have a Hair Cellophane Treatment yesterday. The result was good after but now, I’m not satisfied anymore. My hair is still dry. The gay beautician only allowed the treatment to stay in my hair for almost 15minutes. It cost me P400.00 (approximately $ 7). Do i have the right to come back and complain about the result of the treatment?

Unfortunately when you get a cellophane it stiffens your hair. Just let it wear off and it will. There isn’t anything you can do that isn’t going to damage your hair even more that will help make your hair feel better. I sure hope it’s shiny though cause that’s the purpose for those and a type of soft highlight. I think 15 minutes is typical for cellophane’s. You can complain, but $ 7 is hardly worth your stress of complaining is it? You would spend that in gas alone! lol!

I have a moisturising conditioning treatment thing that you put in you hair for 30min then wash out. But I find when i leave it in and let it dry my hair is alot more controlled and less frizzy (as my hair is very thick and frizzy), is it bad to leave it in for a day or 2?

ok i use garnier fructis and i shampoo twice for 6 min then i condition once for 5 min.

Then in the morning its all in curls so i flat iron it.
it takes me about 20 min but its really nice.

I have long, dry, brittle hair that is prone to spliting and tangles. It is colored. What are some good treatments and/or conditioners to use? The day I wash my hair it feels nice and soft, but by the next day it is very dry. I am using Ojon shampoo/conditioner which worked well at first, but now my hair seems to be “immune” to it.

try trimming it to get rid of dead ends and split ends, then use pantene shampoo and/ or conditioner. if your hair is really dry, then use the one for woman of color. it has essential oils in it an dmakes your hair very shiny. another great conditioner is aussie 3 minute miricle. you can alternate them now and then. make sure to use a regular shampoo every few washes to get rid of residue from using the same conditioner and shampoo. i, myself use regular shampoo everyday and pantene conditioner.one other you can try is tres’ eme’ for shampoo. these are some you can try to see what works for you. but i highly, highly recommend the pantene for women of color. its in a brown kinda bottle. works great!

Without damaging the hair too much? I heard of cold restructuring, or something like that, which is supposed to smooth curls. It is supposed to be similar to the japanese hair straightening. However, I’ve heard that the japanese hair straightening can be reallllly bad for your hair. I have spiral curls, which I love, but are too unruly for the workplace. I’m looking for something which will defriz them and smooth them out, and doesn’t require tons of time in the bathroom every morning. Have any ideas?
