I have very dry hair and i was reading that you should let conditioner sit for a while in ur hair before rinsing…is this true? If it is, how long should i?

2 minutes and scrub and scrub but dont use too much your hair will be greasy

What is the best professional shampoo and conditioner for long hair?

My hair is long, and I would like to keep it that way. I need something to strengthen my hair, to keep it from breaking so easily, and something to help with split ends (besides trimming my hair). I know that trimming your hair helps with split ends, but what can you do in between trims to keep it from getting bad? Thanks guys!

I’ve been in short hair all these while, as far as i can rmb the last time i had long was 10 yrs old back in primary school. Now i’m 20, i decided to go back to the old school long hair(boy that’s how long it took me to change my hairstyle).

My hair is not as short as pixie short, but the rather longer like erm..Ellen Degeneres type of short, with fringe up to my jaw. But my most recent hairstyle was bob.

As you know, bob is longer in the front and shorter at the back, as it grows longer, it is started to go out of shape. So i went to trim it, plus i heard that trimming will make your hair grows faster because of healthier ends sth like that.

But now my fringe is trimmed to be as short as the hair at the back, so i’m back to my usual short hair AGAIN and NOWHERE NEAR LONG HAIR.

How long more will it take for my hair to reach collar bone/pony tail length? Is it true that trimming will make it grow faster? Any other ways to make my hair grow faster?

maybe about six months, it depends on how fast your hair grows
eat foods with lots of protein, and be gentle when you brush it so the ends wont break off. regular trimming doesn’t make your hair grow faster, it keeps it from getting dry and brittle and breaking, so it seems like it’s growing faster.

I have long dark brown thick hair half way down my back and I used to have a perm so half of my hair is curly. I have been getting really bad split ends even after I have just gotten my hair cut so I’m wondering if its time for me to switch shampoos and find something that will strengthen my hair and get rid of my split ends. What kind of shampoo would people recommend for my kind of hair?

I have fine hair and they do fall more than normal. But when I come back from the gym I can’t be satisfied until I have also shampooed my hair and lately I’m worried if this will effect my hair in a bad way and they will fall more…..

It’s not great to shampoo every day but if you feel you must, buy a shampoo that’s mean to be used daily so it won’t strip your hair of necessary oils.

I decided to have a Hair Cellophane Treatment yesterday. The result was good after but now, I’m not satisfied anymore. My hair is still dry. The gay beautician only allowed the treatment to stay in my hair for almost 15minutes. It cost me P400.00 (approximately $ 7). Do i have the right to come back and complain about the result of the treatment?

Unfortunately when you get a cellophane it stiffens your hair. Just let it wear off and it will. There isn’t anything you can do that isn’t going to damage your hair even more that will help make your hair feel better. I sure hope it’s shiny though cause that’s the purpose for those and a type of soft highlight. I think 15 minutes is typical for cellophane’s. You can complain, but $ 7 is hardly worth your stress of complaining is it? You would spend that in gas alone! lol!

I have long straight hair that is full and thick. It is not dry. I am looking for a shampoo that will help keep it strong, healthy, and not greasy. Any recommendations? Professional brands are welcomed. I am allergic to Pantene, Herbal Essenences, and Suave.

I use tresEMME. It’s a professional brand, but VERY cheap, it’s their motto. They have a whole line of different shampoos and conditioners. You just have to choose which one you’d like. Anything from detangling to moisture rich (best seller).
