    Absolutely Incredable :P

I’m 14, I can speak both English and Chinese with no accent of each language :) (Standard US accent) =D

On the other hand, I think you are quiet amazing, since I could understand EVERYTHING you’ve said.

Keep up the good work! Hao bong! :P

Your mandarin is really impressive. I never really meet I guess you can say “foreigners” who speak chinese fluently where I live and I live in a predominant chinese community.

I could barely speak chinese even though I’m half. You motivate foreign speakers but even chinese american born speakers who never learned their language thats its possible to pick up any language you dedicate yourself to.

Y should move to california. Plenty of cantonese/mandarin speakers here.

    Very impressive…
but to i dont understand why everyone says: i speak chinese…
    cause you don’t speak chinese!!!
in china you have many dialects, and each dialect is a different lanquage.
for instant: there is ”mandarin” and cantonese.
    thank you

its a good plan working on your written and reading while you are not in the environment – i’ve just been reading novels and started on classical chinese the other day. i figure if i lay all the building blocks while i’m here next time i live out there i will just work on making my accent as flawless as pos :) good luck with your study

sweet nicely done. how long have you been studying for? i spent a couple of years between china and taiwan and i also found the most frustrating thing was being unable to express more complex thoughts and feelings. i’ve been back in the Uk for a year now and although my fluency dropped i can still turn it on when i speak to friends (but i have to search for vocab which is less well ingrained).
